Through much breeding and less success, recently things are coming together at least for the visions in my head. I have kits on the ground, and though it may not be much of what I have been hoping for, I'm hoping to just build some genetics to get to my goals.
I have two litters of Fuzzy Lops on the ground, both sired by my FH Buck from Lil' Bit Farms. The first litter, kindled by Hobbs' Katie (Broken Opal ee carrier) had 4 kits, 1 broken orange, 2 broken chestnuts, and a DOA Black/Orange Tri-color. To much disappointment, I knew this was the "Murphey's Law" and was happy enough to enjoy the remaining kits I did get!

The second litter was kindled by my doe WWR Meeka, a Broken Fawn (diluted, chocolate factored) doe who is also the daughter to Hobbs' Katie. She is a beautiful doe and I was also looking much forward to this litter as the combo is more likely to produce me kits of the varieties I am hoping for. She kindled 5, 3 DOA, 1 live who is a Blue Tort and a peanut who was Blue/Fawn Harlequin! Just seeing the tri varieties was exciting me because though I am so far away, I am still so close...

So just one week was a small milestone in this adventure... I had bred a Broken Smoke Pearl Jersey Wooly doe who I was positive carried an 'e' gene and bred her to my Harlequin Jersey Wooly buck... it's been a pain getting this doe bred but I have been hopeful none-the-less I could at least get one more litter from her. One week ago she kindled her babies and had 2 healthy babies, a Black/Orange Harlequin and a Blue/Fawn Harlequin! Exciting!!! :)

Working on it, and getting there! I am so excited to see how all of these kits grow up and work on our second generation of this project!
Happy Memorial Day ~~
